Jarod is an interdisciplinary fine artist born and raised in Fresno, California. He has had the honor and privilege to pursue his education in fine arts, and is dedicated to giving back to the community through his various practices.

Jarod struggled early in life. His family life was marred with homelessness and parental neglect which stemmed from His Father's addiction to Methamphetamine. The freedom he found from a loosely disciplined home gave him a chance to explore his artistic side through graffiti vandalism and mural painting.

Through trial and error, support from his siblings and peers, and determination; Jarod was able to pursue a more productive way of creating art. He went on to receive his GED and eventually earned an Associates Degree in fine arts from Fresno City College.

In 2014, he was awarded the Dean's Medallion award for his perseverance in education. His work has won a variety of academic awards, including the Centennial Arts Scholarship.

Jarod believes his early experiences have helped shape his humility, and has spent a majority of his time away from the arts volunteering in a variety of non-profit  community service programs. He has successfully established a following for his works in the street art, tattooing, and academic communities.
